AI•var is Ivar’s creative laboratory for comics, videos, tutorials and writing about how people use AI — and how AI responds to people.
Why the name?
AI•var combines AI with Ivar’s name. The dot gives it a small technical twist without turning the project into a generic technology brand. The web address spells that mark as aidotvar.ai.
What belongs here?
AI•var is a home for comics, short videos, practical AI tutorials, essays, experiments and AI-assisted artistic design — whatever format best fits the idea.
How is it made?
The concepts, jokes, writing, editing decisions and recurring visual rules are directed by Ivar. AI tools are part of the production process, which is fitting for a project about AI itself.
Who is Ivar?
Ivar was born in the Netherlands and now lives and works in Switzerland, and is happiest somewhere in the mountains with a long hike ahead of him. He studied mechanical engineering, spent several years building power plants around the world, then moved from physical infrastructure into data analytics. These days he is fully focused on AI and design — which is either a logical progression or a very elaborate career detour.
